You may already have this information but there is a Myrick Davis b. 1793 d. 1877 and a Sarah Collins Davis b. 1794 d. 1865 buried in the Section Cemetery in Howard Co., AR...may or may not be your Myrick Davis.

Also saw where a Sally McClain had married an Archibald Collin(g)s, but had no time to follow through with it. Bearing in mind that Sally was a nickname often used for Sarah, it is possible that the lady was first married to a Collin(g)s and later married Myrick Davis.

On the 1860 Blandville, Ballard Co., KY census there is a Myrick Davis 34 (b. ca 1826 KY) with a wife shown as Minta 25, a son Edmond 8, daughters, Alice3 and Makinda E 5 mos.

In 1870 there is a Merick (or maybe Mirick) Davis 77 b. NC in Sevier Co., AR with a wife Narcissa{Bard} 46 (they md. 1865 in Polk Co, AR.) There were several persons in the household. Mr Davis was shown as a cooper (barrel maker.)

If yoyu haven't gone to FamilySearch on the 'net, try it. There are several Myrick Davises listed.

Wishing you the best on your search...I am not connected....just like to help when possible.
