Looking for descendants of Moses Thompson/Thomson who married Mary Sheldon and settled in Marple Township, Chester County, PA in the early 1700s. Moses had three brothers. Peter (about 1698-1747) who owned Greenbank Farm, Joshua (1696-1761) who owned a publick house, The Wheat Sheaf and Aaron (about 1700-1745) who was a tailor. There may have been more children which have not been documented. We are planning a 200th reunion of the Moses Thomson clan and would like to contact descendants of these brothers.

After Moses’ death, his wife married Andrew Simeral and migrated to NC with Moses' three sons. They settled in Burke County, NC.

There Peter Thompson married Mary Potts and settled in NC. They had nine children. Some of their children migrated to Tennessee and then on to other states.

Another of Moses’ sons John Thompson married Anne Ewing and settled in York County, SC (formerly Tryon County, NC). John and Anne had nine children some of which moved to Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama and Texas.

The third son, Alexander Thompson had no known children.
