One more thing --
A death certificate is not always a reliable source of information for anything except the death date and location.
The person that knows the information is there, but he is not talking, so the info is only as good as the informant "thinks" they know.
I saw two other pieces of info, that looked far better for a birth location than a death certificate. I would come much nearer to excepting a military registration or a census record than I would a death certificate. The general rule of thumb is to take the information that is closest to the event when in doubt. For instance, it is much more likely that the parent who gave the census data, knew where he was born than the person given the death data. On military, I have found errors on year of birth, but never on location. Just my 2 cents worth. Carol
