Looking for my Pendergrass Family Line.
Here is what I know so far.
William P. born abt 1832. He married Elizabeth abt 1852 in Tennessee. She was born abt 1834 in Tennessee.
Found them in:
1860 census in Williamson Cty, Illinois
1870 census can not locate.
1880 census in Johnson Twp, Clay Cty, Arkansas
William P. & Elizabeth's childred:
Martha A. b. 1854, Tennessee
Mary M. b. 1855, Illinois, married William Sexton abt 1876 in Arkansas. He was born 1853 in Missouri.
*John Thomas "Tom" b. 15 May 1858, Illinois, d. 03 Aug 1907, Dunklin Cty, Missouri
JOHN THOMAS IS MY GREAT GRANDFATHER.
Susan b. 1860, Illinois
William R. b. 1863 Illinois, married Mary J. Celia Jane Phillips, 11 Nov 1894, Clay Cty, Arkansas.
Emily E. b July 1864, Illinois
James F. b. 1867, Arkansas
Frances L. b. 1871, Arkansas
*John Thomas "Tom" Pendergrass married Sarah Frances Baird abt. 1878 in Clay Cty, Arkansas. Sarah Frances Baird b. 29 Mar 1860 in Missouri and d. 27 Jul 1901 in Clarkton, Missouri.
John & Sarah's childred:
William Thomas "Will" b 15 Feb 1880 in Boydsville, Arkansas, b. 06 Dec 1956 Campbell, Missouri. He married Rebecca L. Mullen.
*Luther Alonzo b. 6 Feb 1882, Malden, Missouri and d. 7 Jul 1959, Campbell, Missouri He married Elizabeth Ann Midkiff in Dunklin Cty, Missouri.
LUTHER ALONZO IS MY GRANDFATHER.
Mary Ann b. 21 Feb 1884
Lillie I or J b. 19 Feb 1889
Jessie James "Arthur" b. 16 Apr 1893, Dunklin Cty, Missouri and d. 7 Apr 1913 Dunklin Cty, Missouri.
Bessie b. 21 Apr 1896 and was adapted by L. Frank & Hazel Tatum at the age of abt 11 after mother Sarah died 1901 and father John Thomas 1907.
Nellie b. 3 Dec 1900 Clarkton, Missouri d. 2 Nov 1908 Clarkton, Missouri.
