William and Rilla have been married for 9 years. Not sure why Rilla’s parents are listed as being from Missouri unless that is a mistake (and there are many such mistakes on the censuses).

In 1880, I was able to locate two William Matheny’s born in the late 1860’s. Making things more difficult, they’re the same age!

*Her name is indexed as Marcy, but looking at the actual writing, it may be Mary.
