My information came from a page in a bible I found in my moms stuff after she died, along with the deed to the property and for the horse and cow. I will never find them in the 1920 census because they must have gotten to Mississippi after the census was taken even though the property was bought in March of 1920.
I did find a Thomas Martin in the 1900 census in Ark. but could not read the birth date. then in 1910 I found what said Obion, Tenn. this was just too much of a coincidence, but again couldn't read the birth date, but Because of their marriage I had to believe he was probably poor and perhaps came with other people his age to Ark. to labor in the cotton fields for the money. This family has been hard to find but the real hard person is Annie because of being orphaned. I have not been able to find the birth record of Thomas in Obion, Tenn. It is like my brick wall has gotten taller. Because of not having the 1940 census yet Me and my siblings won't be found yet and other members of my family I need to find. Am I right on this?
Pat
