In trying to help you I ran across .... Arkansas, Northwestern Counties History, 1889 > Carroll County > City Information It mentions a Tennessee Sisco daughter of Thomas Sisco(deceased)married a William W Collier. It stated that Thomas Sisco came to Arkansas in abt 1835 from Tenn She was of the Baptist religion/he was Methodist and they had 11 children living at time of this article... in the same publication it says that Thomas Sisco was one of the earliest settlers upon the "head waters of the Osage". further there makes mention of a Sisco mountain on the "east side of the Fancher Fork of Osage" Sisco and Brothers were the first merchants this could be a different Sisco? In all the searches nothing came up aout Indian heritage although in the Indian census there were Sisco's but they were Navajo and in Arizona but given the ages of these Sisco's they could be descendants...I think the youngest I found was born abt 1890 I waw always told there was Indian blood in our family(and we all have the facial features) and after 7+ years of research I found not one drop...So I don't know... I guess the only way anyone could prove it short of records is DNA...too $$ for me to go that route. sorry I wasnt more helpful Regards, Connie I am not related Notify Administrator about this message?
