I am a descendent too of the DiGiacomos. My father was John Butler Tyler-. His mother was Jiovanina (Jennie) D'Eramo. Most of the family arrived from the 1880's through the 1920's. Her father was Crocinto D'Eramo and mother Carmela Maria (Mary) Cocco. Carmela Maria Cocco's father was Giuseppe E Cocco and her mother was Erminia Di'Giacomo, I have nothing on her father or beyond. All of the family is from Corpi Santi, Lama dei Peligni, dei Chieti, Italy. Some Ellis Isle records showed many trips for several of the family. I have researched that most of the family went to Coal Creek, El Paso County, Colorado and a lot of the Cocco's and the DiGiacomo's stayed in Shenandoah Ward 5, Schuylkill, Pennsylvania. From Colorado they moved to Paris, Logan County, Arkansas and Tulsa, Oklahoma. I am looking for many of the members prior to leaving Italy late 1800's and before.

What is so funny my father was born and raised in Paris, Logan County, Arkansas. His name was John Tyler, his mother was Jennie D’Eramo. Erminia Di’Giacomo was her maternal grandmother, born in Corpi Santi, Lama dei Peligni, dei Chieti, Italy and I do not have where she died but she died 22 Jun 1919. Do you have any record of her? Maybe that is how they ended up in Paris, Logan County, Arkansas from Coal Creek Colorado. Please contact me. Debbie
