I saw your post with the name Pack and wondered, if by chance, there was a relationship between your Pack line and my Cook line. As I read on, I noted that you mentioned a marriage in Hardin Co., TN. Hardin Co., TN and Wayne Co., TN back right up to each other, and my Cook ancestors were in both counties. Specifically, I have Margaret Malinda (Maggie) Pack (b. 4-7-1888/d. 8-1979 in TX) who married James Napoleon (Polie) Cook (b. 12-6-1878 in Tishomingo Co., MS). Tishomingo Co. MS is a neighboring county that backs up to Hardin & Wayne Co., TN. Margaret Malinda (Maggie) Pack is the d/o William Bethany Pack who came out of Osage, MO. From what I have gleaned on this Pack Family, Willaim Bethany Pack (b. 2-5-1852 in Ossage, MO/d. 3-13-1937) md. 9-10-1877 to Amanda Jane Reedere (b. 1755). Children: Henry Nathanial Pack (b. 7-22-1875 in Erath Co., TX); Louisa May Pack (b. 5-18-1878); Mary Bell Pack (b. 5-15-1883); Edward David PACK (b. 10-19-1885); Maggie Maldia Pack (b. 4-7-1888); John Austin Pack (b. 8-30-1891); Mattie Alton Pack (b. 7-22-1895); and Son Pack.

Does any of this ring a bell with you?
Wanda Bostick Little
