I am researching a Clarence Oliver Moody, dob 1 Jan 1890, dod 4 Feb 1918. He married Ava Freemyer 16 Dec 1911. His WWI draft card says he was born in Cobbs, AR. He later moved to Donaldson, Hot Springs Cty, AR. He contracted "dropsy" and is buried in the Wattensaw Baptist Cemetery near Lonoke, Arkansas
I am at a dead end! There is a CL Litton as a witness on the marriage liscense, but I don't know if he was family or merely a friend. I can't find "Oliver" on any census records to figure out who his parents might be. Perhaps his mother's maiden name was Oliver? Clarence and Ava named their children: Douglas, Dovie, Hildred, and Mildred. Dovie was my husbands grandmother.
Does anyone have any Moody's in their tree from Cobbs, Ar? Any help is appreciated!
