Mollie Choat (choate) born 1869 or 1870 Oct 0r April; married Benjamin Webb in 1891 in Arkansas. She is not the Mollie Choate from Dickson County Tennessee ----- Brother Charley (Charles Rufus Choat (choate) born in April 1875. In 1900 Charley is found married to Cynthia Rogers in Hunt County Texas. Charley and Mollie were born in Ark or Tenn - unknown; father was from Tennessee, mother from Arkansas. Mollie death certificate states she was born in Memphis - but I am unable to find her their in 1870 consensus and unable to lcate her in 1880 consensus in Ark, Tenn, or Tex.
Their parents died when they were young they moved to Texas and then Mollie, my great grandmother came back to Arkansas to live with Laten Choate (b. abt Jan of abt. 1840 in Tennessee). Laten married (married Francis Smith - Shelby County, Tennessee) and lived with her in Cove Creek Township in Washington County, Tennessee had several Choate children.
Charley had a son named Herschel. We have a picture of baby Herschel. If anyone has any information on Mollie, Charley, or Laten Choate. What is laten's real name? Please let me know...I have a hit a brick wall.
