I am interested in finding information on John H Bruce who is listed on the 1880 Fogleman, Crittendon, Arkansas census. It lists him as being age 33 b. 1847 in Tennessee and his wife as Lula Bruce age 21 b. 1859 in Arkansas. His son William R Bruce age 11 as living with them. William is too old to be Lula's son and so I believe Lula is John's second wife. William R Bruce is my husband's paternal grandmother's father and family history lists him as an orphan and so I am trying to determine if this John H Bruce is his father and what happened to him. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
