I wanted to post this reply to this forum site so that others can see how helpful this site can be, and inturn post here whenever possible.
The only info I have on Holland, is Lucinda Holland, who was married to my great-grandfather (John Henry Christman) before he married my great-grandmother who was a Hart. Lucinda Holland died on Feb 10, 1884 less than two weeks after the birth of a baby born dead on Nov. 30, 1884.
My John married Lucinda Holland on 1-14-1878 in Jackson, Arkansas (Batch M585963). John married Lucinda as just John Henry (Henry being last name) as he was in hiding which is a long story. Lucinda Holland was evidentally married before to possibly Harisan Holland. Her maiden name was possibly McCuskill (I am not positive)as I found a marriage of Lucinda McCuskill to a Harisan Holland. When she married John Henry she brought a child, Tina Jane born approx. 1870, into the marriage probably from her first marriage.
John and Lucinda had two girls, Fannie born in 1879, and then Maggie born 2 to 3 years later. I found John Henry, with Lucinda age 25, and Fannie age 1, on a 1880 census in Jefferson, Jackson, Arkansas. Lucinda birthplace is Missouri. Her father's birthplace is Alabama, her mother's birthplace is Tennessee.
I wish I could tell you more about Holland, but I don't have/know anything more. Good Luck! Beverly
