I found John G Rhodes was a member of Mason Lodge # 30, Pleasant Valley Lodge, Nashville, Howard County, Ark DOD 4-18-1899. If you can find any records in Lodge, about all it would say is date he became a member and date of death and if he was in good standing at time of death. Usually if you find a emblem on headstone he was a master mason in a Masonic Lodge in this case, Lodge # 30. Hope this helps.
