BRYANT, WRIGHT, BAKER IN TN & AR

I just saw your message regarding George Bryant. My great-grandfather is listed on the previous page of the census of 1880 in Fayette County, TN, as Edward Bryant, also born in VA, and both parents born in VA. Edward was 45 at that time. My grandfather was his son, Asa. Ed's wife was Virginia "Mitt" Wright, b. TN. Daughter of J. Myles Wright and Sarah Baker. My grandfather migrated with his family to Arkansas probably in the decade following this census. His family settled in Pulaski County, Mineral Township. Asa married my grandmother, Mildred Caroline Bridges, in the late 1890's.

I understand that George Bryant migrated to Monroe County, AR.

I believe that there is a distinct possibility that George and Edward were brothers. If you have any information, I would be delighted to exchange with you.
