I've just become interested in researching my dad's side of the family. He was raised with the spelling Weishman due to his mother's trouble spelling the Weichmann name.His father was born in 1895 in Illinois to John (sp?) and Wilhemina Weichmann. He had a brother, Henry, and a sister, Sophie. I do believe that one of Henry's children, Danny, lived in Stuttgart, Arkansas as of 1995. I don't know much about researching these types of things or where to start looking. My dad didn't know much either because his mother and father divorced when he was not quite 1yo and he did not see him again for 20 years.
Any help would be appreciated.
