Beverly was b 1814 in South Carolina, as was his father,his mother possibly being b in Virginia. He married Jane GIBSON abt 1838 in Franklin Cy or Coffee Cy, TN.( Jane's family had settled in Franklin Cy, TN by 1820, and Beverly and Jane are listed in 1840 census Coffee Cy ,TN)
Jane b 1823 Franklin Cy TN, was the daughter of John GIBSON and Margaret MATHEWS,and grand daughter to Ezekial MATHEWS and Rebecca JONES.
The OWENS - GIBSON line is SC>TN>AR
