I have not as yet found a connection on these lines, but given the time frame, and closeness of proximity, there just about has to be one! I am new at genealogy, so I move slower than most, but I will keep looking. My Schoolfields came to Arkansas from Guilford Co, North Carolina after 1880, and they probably didn't just pick Arkansas at random. I'd bet they had family already here! Probably your Schoolfields.
