HUTSON/YATES - AR (Izard Co?) 1860's

I'm looking for information on a Jim or James HUTSON who was born in Alabama. He married a Matilda YATES who was born in Arkansas. Their daughter Mary Ellen HUTSON was born Aug 17, 1864.

Unsure if Jim and Matilda died in Arkansas or if they made the trip to Texas in the 1870's.

Mary Ellen went to Hill County, TX and there married William M. HOLLAND from Independence Co, AR abt 1885.

May have found Jim on the 1850 Izard County Census - son of Timothy M. and Lucinda Holland.

According to family legend, Matilda Yates was Cherokee. Mary Ellen half Cherokee.

Any one who might could shed some light on this mysterious pair, please contact me.
