I've been trying to pinpoint an ancestor of mine for quite some time-- from the little information I have gathered thus far, her name is Myrtle Rhoda Watkins (maiden name: Thompson), born in Arkansas. She was the first wife of Elias Augustus Watkins (7 Jun 1860-28 May 1948)), who was born in Delaney. Elias married Carrie May Allen following Myrtle's death and moved to Idaho, where the family is buried in Weiser. So where Elias ended up I know, but I would love to find out where Myrtle is buried in order to obtain her birth and death years, let alone go on to find her parents.
Myrtle had two children with Elias: a daughter, named after her, born about August 1885, and then a son named James Rodney Watkins (10 Aug 1887-Jan 1963). Myrtle died, but I do not know whether as a result of childbirth in 1887 or later on. Elias married Carrie on 26 Jul 1891 in Washington County; thus Myrtle certainly died before 1891. Because her children were evidently both born around Delaney, I'm looking (and hoping) to Madison County as far as her burial.
