To Joy:
I've just run across the name of "Robert Lee" in a history book by Wm. F. Davidson, on Free Will Baptists in America, 1727 - 1984, pub. 1985, and on page 269, where the author quotes Goodspeed on Madison, County, "Goodspeed goes on to add Big Fork Church, near Aurora, as the second church, this one by Isaac or Samuel Whitley in 1833. F.W. Blackburn and Robert LEE were among the early preachers who aided the Whitleys. Both churches were in Marion County." This stuck in my mind because of Aurora and Madison Co, plus, the early date. Have you ever seen anything about this Robt. LEE being a preacher--?
