Jefferson Brooks Ledbetter and family were in Cannon Couny, Tennessee at least untill September 14, 1850 as they are found on the census. They migrated to Madison County, Arkasas on a wagon train lead by Jeremiah Turner (J.T.) Reeves. His brother Hugh M. Ledbetter who married Mary Herriman, sister of Elizabeth and Nancy went out to Madison County in 1849.
