On the 1870 Madison Co., Arkansas census (white families): Lucinda Stillwell 28 TN, James A. 13 AR, Jackson 8 AR, Haly 4 mo. AR, Terrel Wadkins 42 TN and his son William 19 TN. Next door: John Austin 29 AR, wife Edy 28 AR, Mary J. 2 and Lucinda 1. Next door: Elias Harrell or Horrell (or could have been Herrell due to enumerator's spelling) 57 or 67 SC, wife Lucinda 55 or 45 or 65 MO, Mary 22, Ruth 20, Lucinda 16, Nancy 13, Elias 11, Benjamin 9, Sarah 5, George 1. Other neighbors included Gehart, Strap??, Wilson, Bell. Lucinda Stillwell was on the 1880 Madison Co. census along with kids H. J. 16, Alice 9 and Tobie 7, nearby was her son James with his wife Nancy 19 and daughter Josie 1. Questions: Was Lucinda Stillwell a niece or a cousin to Terrel? Was Lucinda Stillwell related to the Austins or Harrell/Horrell/Herrells? Appreciate any information.
