My great grandfather HARMON FOX was born in Owsley Co., Ky. in 1855. He married SARAH JANE SMITH about 1877. They were in JOHNSON CO., ARK. in the 1880 census. My grandmother, LUCINDA FOX was born in Ky. in 1878 before they moved to Ark. The Fox family had nine children all together. About 1892 SARAH JANE SMITH FOX died. In May of 1893 HARMON FOX married FANNIE MASON in JOHNSON CO., ARK. On the marriage license he states that he lives in MADISON COUNTY, ARK. at Dutton Township. Fanny lived in NEWTON CO.,ARK at the time of the marriage. Can anyone tell me if SARAH JANE DIED in MADISON COUNTY?? In 1897 my grandmother daughter of HARMON FOX, LUCINDA FOX married WILLIAM M. HILL in JOHNSON CO., ARK. Can anyone tell me who WILLIAM M. HILL'S parents were. The above families moved to Indian Territory in Nov. of 1899 and as far as I know never went back to Ark. I don't know WILLAIM M. HILL'S parents name, but do know he had a half brother by the name of JOHN HENRY MORRIS that was five years older than him. JOHN HENRY MORRIS also moved to Indian Territory with the FOX & HILL FAMILIES. He married MATTIE FOX,sister to LUCINDA in 1901. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks RUBY
