I found this in the land records: http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/arkland/arkland.pl There are two men listed who had the surname of Clover in Clark County. If I were you, I would work my way around in Clark County as that was an old established area of Arkansas early on. That is in the southwestern part of the state. Arkadelphia is the county seat with two colleges and a ton of history. It also sits right on the river so it was considered a very good place to be. Hope this helps you. Good luck.
