I am looking for any additional information on the Wade family who lived in Lonoke County, AR for many years. Edmond (Edwin) Hinton Wade and his wife Mary Leonorah (Nora) Mahaney had seven children and then she married C.R. Sims and had several more. I am looking for any information on Edmond and Nora's children as well as any information on Edwin and Nora's parents. This is the information (or lack thereof) that I have so far. The family members are listed in ascending chronological order:

Notes: 1880 census lists a Will Wade living in Caroline Twp. Lonoke Co. AR, born ca. 1836 in TN – Unsure if this is William Hinton Wade or not.

Died: 4/24/1934 Lonoke, AR (not proven this is her)
Father: possibly P.J. Mahoney b.ca. 1850 in Louisiana (1880 census lists a PJ Mahnoey b. ca. 1850 in LA living in Jackson Twp. Boone Co. AR – not sure if this is Nora’s father or not…)

NOTE ON CHILDREN: According to family tradition, there was a son named Sam Wade who was killed in WWI and a son knicknamed “Coon.” Unsure if these are Merlin or Earl.
Notes: -Listed on 1910 Ward Township, Lonoke County, AR census (taken 5/13/1910) as Nora Wade, age 35, widowed, mother of 7---7 still living. Her occupation is farmer.
-Listed on 1920 El Paso & Ward Road, Ward Township, Lonoke County, AR census as the wife of Robert C. Sims, age 48, with children Myrth E age 26, Mattie L. age 17, John H. age 16, and Jessie A., age 12
-1930 El Paso Road, Ward Township, Lonoke Co., AR 4/3/1930, Nora is listed as Mrs. C.R. Sims, head of household, owns home, age 56, widow, can read and write. Also living in her home was George Sims (possibly a step-son?), age 36 divorced, a farm laborer. Nora’s grandchildren Camilla Price, age 9, Onita Price, age 7, and Geraldine Price, age 4 were also living with her.
-Nora lists her father born in different places on each census:
1900 – Father born in Illinois
1910 – Father born in Louisiana
1920 – Father born in Ireland
1930 – Father born in Arkansas
-We have photo of Nora labeled “Nora Mahaney Sims, your great-grandmother from Ireland.” It appears that she was not born in Ireland, but possibly her father was. Were they hiding that they were Irish???

Notes: At the US Federal Census 4/18/1930 in North Little Rock, Hill Township, Pulaski County, AR, Gladys is listed as a roomer in the home of a Greek family. Polos Angelo was the head of the household. Gladys is listed as age 30, married, age 19 when first married, can read and right, occupation: private family nurse. At this same time, Gladys’s children Camilla, Geraldine and Onita were living with Gladys’s mother in Lonoke, AR.
