Hello. I have a suggestion. Why don't you write the local newspaper in Carlisle which may be named the Carlisle Independent? As you can tell I do not live there, but have read the paper. They would welcome the story and you would probably find all kinds of kin.
If you are speaking of the ones that I believe you are, they are highly regarded in Carlisle. editor@lonokedemocrat.com would be one way to connect at Carlisle. The same people publish at least three small town newspapers including the one at Carlisle. Hope this helps.
