1900 Lewis is next door to Wylie P and family.Initials for his wife are WC and a dtr is Eveline 9mos. The first named child on the census for Wylie P is CT b 1881. He would be from Wylie's first marriage to ?unk.
1910 Lewis Jones is in Caney TWP LR Co. His wife is Cordie b 1879 MS.
1918 he is on the WWl draft cards for New Boston, Bowie Co TX. His name is spelled Louis Franklin Jones b Aug 1 1877 and names his wife Fannie.
1920 & 1930 he is still in Bowie Co. His wife is Fannie and she was b 1887 TX. She is mother to only Effie May as far as I can tell.
He had children Eveline(who you do not see after 1900), Searl F b Oct 9 1900 and died Nov 5 1972(he is buried in the Ashdown Cem LR Co. Next to him is his sister Nellie Jones Davis May 5 1909-June 5 1970, states she was wife to Jeff Davis), Melvin b 1903, Virgil 1905, Minnie 1907, Nellie 1909 and Effie Mae 1915. All the kids b in AR except for Effie who was b TX.
Marriage records for LR Co show Effie May married Joseph Weatherly Jr 1940, Nellie to Jeff Davis 1939, there are several marriages for Minnies, so do not know which is correct if any. Searl married in Sevier Co to Audrey. None that i can find for Virgil or Melvin.
Louis died Mar 19 1945 in Bowie Co. You could send to the state for a death cert. It should list his parents names on it. I have not found where he is buried.
