Hi Forum,
I am seeking ANY information regarding the family of William Russell "Bill" Daniel(s) and his family.
William Daniel was b. April 5, 1891 in Wickes, Polk County, Arkansas and died in Ashdown, Little River County, abt. 1935. He married Lesley/Lesby McCallen/McCallan.
On his WWI Draft Registration in 1917 he stated that he worked as a clerk for A. B. Phillips in a General Store.
On the 1920 census he is still working in the General Store and on the 1930 census he stated that he was the Post Master in Jefferson, Little River County.
The census records state that he had at least 3 sons, Orel (name could be wrong as record was hard to read and he was only listed on the 1920 census), David (in 1920) or Doyle (in 1930), and Curtis.
Curtis Daniel is listed on the S.S.D.I. as having passed away on May 15, 1997 in Ashdown, Little River County. Could someone please look up his obituary notice?
