These are my ggrandparents. Joseph K. Mattingly is buried in Marianna, Lee Co, AR. All I have on him is proof of marriage on 16 Feb 1896 at age 32 to Delia Robertson, aged 23, and the 1900 census where his name was recorded backwards and has tally numbers written across it at an angle. That and his tombstone in the Cedar Hgts. Cem., Marianna, AR. Joe worked in the lumber business and lived out near where Bear Creek Lake is now.
I believe I have found Joe as a 3 yr. old in the Randolph Co, ILL, census of 1860, but need proof.
Delia Roberson is often listed as Robertson or Robinson,and on the map of Bear Creek Lake can be seen "Robertson Hollow".
Delia was born as Delpha Ann Roberson in Wayne Co, TN, to William Kendrick Roberson and Matilda Caroline Fowler.
Any and all help appreciated.
