Yes, there were several Stuarts and also Stewarts around 1830. I would love to know if and how they were related. My grandfather, Henry Stuart, may have lived there. His father-in-law, William O. Stevens, is listed there in Lawrence County in 1830. I don't know if Henry and his wife met there and married or met somewhere later.
