I have always felt that they are related somehow.

I will tell you what I have, the Howard research has moved along somewhat but slowly. In the New Hope Baptist records I only have these pages 27-29-35-42. Wish I had the complete set.

My Joseph was born Nov 22 1808, in Tenn and died Feb 14 1866 in Lawrence Co Ark. I believe he is the son of Rezin oor Reason and Dicey Walker Howard from Bledsoe Co Tenn. 1850 Joseph and Rebecca Rogers Howard are on the census for Bledsoe Co Tenn with 4 children. This is his second marriage, as daughter Emily was born 1842, and they married June 3 1846.

1860 census they are in Lebannon Twp Lawrence Co Ark
1870 Rebecca is in Richwoods Twp Sharp Co Ark. 1863 part of Lawrence Co became part of Sharp Co.

These are the children I have for Joseph and Rebecca

In 1850 he was living with a Nancy Williams and her children in Houston Co Georgia. Her oldest child was Martha E Williams and he mrd her. They moved to Sharp Co Richwood Twp Ash Flat in Ark. womtime between 1856-1859.

Joseph Marion b 12-19-1859 died 4-24-1924 mrd Emma Godwin in Sharp Co ARk
