In the 1850 Lafayette Co. AR census, there is a James C. Roberts living in the h/h with Edwin C. Turner & wife, Frances Ann (Goode) Turner. Also, in the h/h is a young man, (13) named Benjamin W. Johnson.
James C. Roberts appears, from earlier census records, to have come from Meriwether Co. GA & was b 1816.
The Turners came from Upson Co. GA. There seems to be a relationship between James C. Roberts & the Morgan family. Will appreciate any info on any of the above people. Thank you.
