Howdy!
I am looking for information on the town of Jackson in Lafayette co. Ark. in the late 1800's. I have been told that that the old country store near the Albert Foster place was run by my gggrandfather Fisher John Jackson and that the Post Office was run by Mr. Callicott. The town was about 2 miles south of Violet Polson's place. The town was located where 3 roads came together and is t;he old home place.
I have been told this information and do not know if it is factual but would like to have some information. Thanks, JJ
