I am related to Joseph C. Hierschpiel and his wife Sarah Margaret. Joseph was born January 1842 in TN. He and Sarah lived in Pine Bluff,Jefferson Co., at 631 Ash Street, where he was a painter and they raised their family there. He served in the Civil War.
They had the following children:

Mary Agnes, born June 1869, married M. F. Walters
Mattie E. born June 1870, married William H. Bradbury
Carrie Ann born Feb. 1874, married Henry J. Walters
Ida born abt. 1877
Sarah Margaret born 1874, Married married Thomas Dee Noble
Joseph, born 1886
