This is not my family line, but since you are so knowledgable, is there any chance you might have information on a James Barlow, possibly born in 1814 in Izard Co, and Julie Francis Morrison Born Izard Co1817.They married probably in about 1835, but may have moved to Illinois as their Dau. Mary Elizabeth Barlow was born in Illinois in l838.and two other sibling:Julia and Jett Barlowwere born, but I do not know the dates. Another of my ancestors may have lived in Izard Co...George Washington Arnold b 1833 or 1834 (served in the Union Army) . George Arnold and Mary Elizabeth Barlow married and my great grandmother Amanda Isabel Arnold was born in 1863 in Calico Rock, AR so they may have moved back and forth between AR andIllinois. Additionally, George Washington Arnold and MaryBarlow also had other children, Alfred, George, Elizabeth, Sadie, Vincent and David( who the story goes was kidnapped by the night riders during the civil war.)One of the Barlow women, I don't know which one left AR for fear of the carpetbaggers. she relocated to Mo, and is buried in Iberia Missouri..known as "Granny Barlow"ANyinformation you have will be greatly apreciated, you can e-mail me direct if you wish.. [email protected]. I have family all over MO and OK,and maybe some cousins n Arkansas. My home town is Claremore Oklahoma, not too far away but now I live in Nevada. Thanks, Carol ParkCarson City Nv.
