Does anyone have any information concerning these two people. James Mathews married Mary Ann Durham on March 10, 1847 in Independence County Arkansas. He was 23 years old and she was 17. Her father, Robert S. Durham gave his verbal consent to the marriage. They named their first child Robert S. Mathews. I have her parents and siblings but I have nothing on James' ancestors. If anyone knows anything please let me know. They were my great great grandparents.
