Who is Williamson BRANNON born abt 1814 in SC ?
He married Cassandra CHERRY in TN, and by 1880 they are living in AR.in the same township as
Beverly Basil OWENS and other CHERRY families, Independence County AR.
Some of The BRANNON , OWENS and CHERRY families started out in Abbeville, SC and TN
and settled together in AR
I feel sure that Williamson BRANNON is somehow
related to John Byrd BRANNON, born abt 1805 SC, son of James Culwell
BRANNON born abt 1770, Ireland., and Elizabeth HOOD born SC
.
Im trying to make this connection to decide if John Byrd BRANNON'S wife, Permelia
OWENS, is the sister to Bevery Basil OWENS, as I feel she most likely is.

John Byrd Brannan and Permelia Owens
were both born in S. C. and later moved to Franklin
County, TN. They had seven children: Beverly Basil, John,
James Crawford, David, Stamps, Mattie, and Williamson
(this Williamson born after 1836). Did they name their son, Beverly Basil (born after 1836) after my
Beverly Basil , born 1814 ?
Beverly Basil OWENS has been my " brick wall" for years.
