George A Curle

I am seeking information on the burial location of George A Curle born February 24, 1844 in Virginia. I am told the he died August 10, 1888 in Howard County Arkansas. According to what I've been told he was killed (possibly shot in the back) along the Red River. The story goes that a man who was in love with his daughter Susan killed George.

George was married to Elizabeth Whaley in Tennessee. They had several children: Susan, Eugene, Nannie, Eugene, Mollie, George Jr, Lula Belle & William Elbert.

The family moved back to Tippah County MS sometime after George was killed. Nannie married AJ Barnes in HOward County, Arkansas in 1890 & may have stayed in the area.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
