Help..

I'm not from Arkansas. I live in Calif. My grandmother was Mae Wallace (dob 7/8/1908) , daughter of Amanda E. Blocker and William McClellan Wallace. William Wallace was son of John Wallace who owned a wagon yard and we've heard was the first native american to carry the mail from Hot Springs to Little Rock. I can't seem to verify this. I also don't have any info on his family. I found a John Wallace who married Cora Woods, but I don't know if they are my family.Does anyone know anything about this? Does anyone know if our families where neighbors or involved in the town or what they did for living? Also we have the Blockers back to George Blocker around the time of the civil war and not before. I hear they lived in possum kingdom. Not where the lake is now..but further over (whatever that means)
I don't know antyhing about who my cousins are or much about his side of the family.. Can anyone help me?
