Lois, if I remember correctly, Chase was near Willow in Dallas County. There was a post office there for a short time. The town was to be named for one of two baby boys. I would have to find the information to tell you how they picked the winner. He was Wylie Chase Green, b. 13 March, 1902 d. 12 May 1904. He was the son of Albert Martin and Martha Belle "Mattie" Parker Green. He is buried in Caldwell Chapel Cemetery, Dallas County. The other little boy, whose name I can't remember, lived a long life. Evidently, the post office was not there very long. The Greens are distant kin of my mother.
