We are looking for two descendants of Barnes of ME and MN.
A recently received obituary from Blue Earth Co., MN indicates the a Charles E. Barnes was resdient of Hot Springs, Ark. in Jan. 1938 Charles was born in about 1887,
in Cotton Wood County, MN. to Charles F. Barnes, and his
cousin wife, Ida Florence Barnes. He was one of six children
and the only one who survived. He was recently found in LE
Ray Township, Blue Earth Co., MN 1900, with wife Sarah, 23, brn 1878 Min., and Mother Sarah brn 1834 ME. Unable so far
to locate 1910 - on.
We are also looking for his cousin Robert Barnes Pleasants
brn abt 1923 Chic. Ill. to Robert Monakur Pleasants of NY
and Maude Florence Barnes of Mankato, Blue Earth Co, MN.
1938 obit states he may have in in Kan. City, but did not
state Kan or Mo. SS index lists a Robert Pleasants brn 8
May 1897 SN 430-10-0474, res Hot Spring Nat. Park, dd 1973,
but not positive he is father of Robert the son.
