Yes, Gilbert Clark did marry Mary Ann Ward, daughter of Luke and Rebecca Drew Ward. They moved on to Red River Co. with James and Benjamin. They ended up in Hopkins Co.
I am also working on the Ward family and would love to compare notes. How do you fit into the Ward family?
Do you know anything about the second marriage of Rebeccca to Jesse Ward? How was Jesse related to Luke? Also, were Armetiziah, Marshall, and Sarah Ward Rebecca's children with Jesse? If not who was their mother?
I am also trying to learn more of the connection to Abner Moren/Morning. Do you know anything about him or the suit by Daniel Ward to gain custody of those three?
