Alice A. Coleman b.18 Jan 1856 Bodington or Boddie VA m. in AR Hempstead Co. 6 June 1880 3rd wife of John Fletcher Gilbert b. 14 Dec. 1846. She was sister to Jefferson Davis Coleman. Her parents were Thomas B. Coleman and Lucy A.??
Her Burial is in the Gilbert Cemetary in Crossroads near Washington AR. Does anyone have access to this area or knows where I can find it in print to verify. Alice died 28 Dec. 1922. Would love to have a picture of the area of the cemetary where she might be buried.
Jefferson Davis Coleman b. 18 Oct 1861 m. 6 Dec. 1887 Emma Redelia Gilbert b. 30 Jan 1871 in Hempstead Co. d/o John Fletcher Gilbert and Lucy Ann Heather.
I believe Lucy Ann Heather 1st wife of John, Ada Jane Hughson 2nd wife of John, and Alice A. Coleman from records i have recieved state that they were all buried in the Gilbert Cemetary. Another notation was that Powers Ar was home place of this Gilbert Cemetary. So are the two cemetaries the same in Hempstead Co. or are they two Seperate cemetaries. Any help would be appreciated in this endeavor of a puzzle.
