my jane cannon harris and my robert carter, jr, father of my elizabeth carter harris, along with martin and mary peek ingram, were charter members of the concord baptist church in 1832 in cobb co, ga. our richard harris, son of our charles harris/ jane cannon, married as both his 1st and 2nd wives, sarah and emeline wright, widow of jasper wright, who are both indicated to have been daughters of martin and mary peek ingram. our jane cannon harris obtained a war of 1812 widow's pension re our charles harris in 1872 in paulding co, ga. in 1872 in cleburne co, al emeline (ingram) wright harris and her daughter hannah jane wright gave affidavits, stating that our charles harris died in 1865 in greene co, arkansas. witnesses to their affidavits there in cleburne co, al were mary ingram and laban pitts. per the 1860 census greene co, arkansas, our richard harris was enumerated adjcacent jasper wright and solomon ingram, said to have been son also of martin and mary peek ingram, was enumerated adjacent n. w. pitts. all of them were living in the in 1860 in greene co, ar in the same cache township. our richard harris may have died before 1870 as emeline (ingram) wright harris and her family are shown to have been living with mary ingram per the 1870 census cleburne co, al. if you have an interest in our richard harris and these same families, i would appreciate hearing from you. thanks. belva harris cauthen Notify Administrator about this message?
