Hi Sherri
You and I have the same Boswell's - Rice - Fielder's. I have another for you, and hope you can help.
My 2nd. great grandparents where:
David Watson m. Catharine Stiller - July 5, 1834 in Gibson, Co. Tn. bondsman was Wm. Butler. This William Butler was a brother-in-law to Catharine Stiller, by way of her brother John P. Stiller m. Julia Butler - Nov. 17, 1832 Gibson, Co. Tn.
Catharine Stiller and her sister married the same day July 5, 1834 in Gibson, Co. Tn. Her name was Sarah Stiller who married Alexander Foren.
But, what I wanted to ask, is about the Watson's. My David Watson was born in Williamson, Co. Tn. 1816. His father was Peter Watson from Burke, Co. N.C. I don't know who Peter married.
Peter Watson moved to Gibson, Co. Tn. just after the 1830 Census was taken.
This is some of his children in Gibson, Co.Tn.:
Elizabeth Watson m. Samuel Leggett - Dec. 28, 1833.
Susannah Watson m. Charles Yearbury - April 15, 1833.
Sarah Watson m. William Maxley - July 13, 1835.
Ruthy Watson m. Richard Ellington - Dec. 19, 1835.
John Watson m. Martha Hazelwood - Jan. 16, 1843.
Frances Watson m. Jesse Tyner - Dec. 22, 1841.
Another son was George W. Watson who had married a Frances last name unknown to me, but he was a son of Peter Watson, this George W.& Frances moved to Greene, Co. Ark.
Do you know about the Leggett's?
There is a Thomas M. Watson m. Kisiah Sellers - June 29, 1835. I don't know any thing about him.
