On the rootsweb cem. page ( http://www.rootsweb.com/~argreene/CEM/CEMTRAN/LINWOOD1.htm ) there is a J.R. Allen listed in the Linwood index, but the dates are different b.Oct 9, 1845 d.Dec 23, 1927. That's all the info I have, but you might find more on the rootsweb greene co. site.
