To Whom it may concern:
My Great Great Grandfather Phillip Nelson Brashears was listed on the 1860 census as living in Cache township, Green county Arkansas with his wife Martha E.Bratton Brashears and his mother i assume Sarah Brashears, they got married July 3, 1859, according to family records.
she died in 1862 leaving a child, my Great Grandfather Robert Edward Brashers who was born in 1861, Phillip nelson then remarried a Rachel Smith Jan 22, 1865, he then died Nov 27, 1868 and on the 1870 census my Great Grandfather is listed as an Orphan being raised by E. H. Bratton, which was his mothers brother, still in cache township, Greene county Ark. I have looked at everything listed on this sight and do not find any record of where they might be buried, the GG Grandfather and his wife, according to the census they owned land, does anyone have any information that might help me find them.
I have also found him listed in the Davies Batallion during the Civil War as a Confederate.
Thanks in advance
Martha Westover
