Area near Lorado/Crossroads Cemetery

I am looking for information about land and/or a house that was owned by John Chappel about 1/4 mile southeast of Crossroads Cemetery. The house burned in 1940s or 1950s and was a 2 story home with a brick walkway. I am interested in when the house actually burned and where it sat on the land.
