Roi in Green County, Ark.

The index on Ancestry for the Goodspeed history of Green Co.Arkansas, notes a person/place called ROI! However I find no mention of ROI on any of the pages (chapter 15, pages 117, 123, 125.

I am trying to document Charlot Roi, a "celebrated" bear hunter who was born and lived most of his life on or near the Ouachita Poste area (1780-1852). I am hopeful that the Roi buried somewhere in the Goodspeed History is connected to Charlot Roi.

Does anyone have knowledge of a Charlot Roi (or any other) who may have been in the Green County area---or know why the Roi name is mentioned but not texted in Goodspeed?
